Culture in the park: Chemnitz park summer 2025 inspires with free events!
in the heart of Chemnitz, more precisely in the city hall park, a lot happens in summer 2025. As of today, the park will be used for the popular parking summer by July 27, and the anticipation is noticeable. With 86 events over seven days a week - for the first time even on Mondays - visitors can expect a colorful program, which includes everything from indie to jazz to classical and poetry slam. Small artists and great talents are on stage, while families can relax in children's programs and yoga. Radiochemnitz reports that around 28,000 guests came in the past year.
doesn't that sound like a great way to spend the warm summer days? The best thing about it: entry to all events is free! But here is the catch: To secure the festival in the coming years, support will be needed. Together with Volksbank Chemnitz eG, the organizing C³ GmbH has launched a crowdfunding with the aim of collecting 25,000 euros. Each euro donated will be increased by the Volksbank by 25 percent. So it's a win-win situation for everyone! Supporters can handle their donations conveniently online or on site on the service counter and look forward to great thank you like a coloring book or festival band.
a creative concept with heart
The idea of the Parks summer festival was launched in 2017 to create a central place for open -air events. The city hall park is now a popular meeting place for cultural enthusiasts and sun worshipers. C³ Chemnitzer Veranstungszentren GmbH and Volksbank Chemnitz eG do everything they can to keep this cultural space alive, and thus also contribute to strengthening the community. Many create more emphasizes that the park offers the ideal backdrop for unforgettable moments.
crowdfunding is more than just a money procurement method. It is a common commitment to culture and art in the region. It shows how important we are supporting projects that may not always receive the necessary funds. IG Kultur explains that this form of financing not only serves to protect, but also offers the opportunity to strengthen the community and to generate attention for unique projects. In this way, the festival is not only financially, but also socially strengthened.
Another highlight is the mascot of the festival: Schnurrbert, a hangover that wins the hearts of the guests with his charming manner. Under the motto "Fat mice for Schnurrbert", the fundraising campaign also attracts attention and brings even more fun to the festival. Dr. Ralf Schulze, the organizer, emphasizes that the stage is a valuable platform for artists who may otherwise have a hard time being discovered.
Take the opportunity to participate in this cultural highlight! Visit the parking summer, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in a deck chair and support crowdfunding to secure the cultural scene in Chemnitz for the coming years. Who can resist?
