An example of this is Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, Minnesota, which operates as a teaching hospital. Known as one of the best hospitals in America, it offers a wide range of medical services, including emergency and trauma care.

Founded in 1872 and part of HealthPartners since 1993, it has grown into an accomplished heart and cancer care center. The hospital has also received notable awards, including from the Leapfrog Group for excellence in heart attack and pneumonia care. Such facilities demonstrate how important comprehensive medical care and supportive structures are for the recovery and integration of people in difficult life situations.
