The popular weekly markets that take place at locations such as the Alaunplatz, Königstraße and Stralsunder Straße invite the citizens to discover regional products and local specialties. Not only fruit and vegetables, but also freshly baked bread, homemade sausages and many other delicacies are offered here. - Jacob-Winter-Platz : Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (fruit, vegetables, dairy products).

- lingnerallee : Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (fresh food).

- Schillerplatz : Tuesday, Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
