There's always something going on in the music scene, and the coming weeks promise some very special highlights. There is plenty to be excited about, as the concerts in Dresden attract not only local but also national attention. On Monday, November 3, 2025, the noise rock band DŸSE, known for their unpredictable music, will shake up the chemical factory. The band, which has its origins in Amsterdam, consists of the talented musicians Jarii van Gohl and Andrej Dietrich. Their new concept album “Mau R” addresses the fall of the Berlin Wall and the current political situation and is underlined by a creative idea: The seven new tracks are packaged in a self-cast Berlin Wall made of concrete, which was designed by 45 artists. What makes the whole thing special is the transformation of the recordings into political works of art that are auctioned off live. The proceeds go to democracy-promoting associations and networks, which also gives the event a good cause.
Shortly afterwards, on November 12, 2025, another concert is on the program at the same location: Florian Sievers will present his third album “Everywhere where people are”. After his debut “Goldene Zukunft” from 2018, he remains true to his style and inspires with German-language pop that combines catchy and poetic lyrics. Sievers receives support from synthesizer artist Stefanie Schrank, who contributes her musical skills.
