In the art of acting, there are always new offerings that enable ambitious actors to refine their skills and discover their passion for the stage. Currently this is laying Project Theater Dresden the focus on a basic course in acting, which will be held as a weekly event at Louisenstraße 47 in Dresden from October 23, 2025. Here, participants can expect exciting insights into the world of theater and performing arts.
The course teaches a range of techniques for anyone who enjoys creative play. The focus includes physical and vocal expression as well as overcoming stage fright - exactly what you need to be confident and authentic on stage. The interaction in the group is also very important, because interaction with other actors promotes imagination and self-confidence. The whole thing is accompanied by a small showcase that makes what you have learned visible to everyone after the course is completed.
Course management and costs
The experienced team of the course consists of Christiane Guhr and Christian Schmidt. Guhr brings her passion for theater studies and art history, while Schmidt has over 20 years of experience as a theater maker and educator. Both ensure that participants not only learn techniques, but also develop their personal playing style.
The costs for the course are staggered: In the basic offer, participants pay 360 euros, while the “Fair” model is priced at 420 euros and the “Solidarity” model is priced at 480 euros. Anyone who is interested should register by September 30, 2025 at the latest post@projekttheater.de register.
Additional acting courses
In addition to the offerings in Dresden, there are also exciting acting courses at the Intercultural stage in Frankfurt. Here, adults aged 18 and over, whether beginners or experienced actors, can look forward to comprehensive basic training. The goal is to make acting fun for participants while improving their technical skills. Body language and breathing control exercises ensure that every actor stands confidently and confidently on stage.
With a maximum of ten participants, we work in small groups, which ensures individual support. Since final performances take place on the last day of the course, participants can immediately demonstrate what they have learned.
