The annual Keramikmarkt is a fixed date in the calendar of many Leipziger and attracts more than 60 talented ceramists from Poland, Italy and Germany. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. they present their latest creations, ranging from artistic sculptures to practical everyday objects.

Visitors can look forward to a diverse offer, which includes figurative ceramics, delicate porcelain cups and powerful wooden fire vessels. The variety of manufacturing and burning techniques, including raku and salt fire, offers exciting insights into traditional and modern ceramic art. terra rossa , the organizing art association, has invited a selection of the best ceramics who show their work in the courtyard of the museum.

A highlight of the market is the opportunity to become creative yourself. Both children and adults can take part in the potter's slices and design their own works.
