Lok Leipzig celebrates a clear 3-0 win against BFC Dynamo!

Today, November 2nd, 2025, an exciting duel in the Northeast Regional League was on the agenda. League leaders Lokomotive Leipzig met BFC Dynamo, and while Leipzig missed the opportunity to convert their dominance into goals in the first half, the game remained goalless until half-time.

Coach Seitz, who had to sit in the stands due to a suspension, was unable to cheer on his team directly. But the team was not impressed by this and set the tone at kick-off. In the first 15 minutes, Leipzig had several good opportunities, but failed to put the ball into the net. BFC Dynamo also showed some offensive efforts, but were unable to capitalize on their chances.

The second half brings clarity

After the change of sides, however, the tide should turn. In the 56th minute, Alexander Siebeck made it 1-0 for Lok Leipzig, which made the spectators cheer. Shortly afterwards, Abderrahmane made it 2-0 in the 61st minute by scoring from a corner. The third goal didn't take long to arrive: Maderer grabbed the chance in the 72nd minute after a shot from the post by Siebeck and made it 3-0.

As a result, BFC Dynamo still couldn't find its game. Pestic had a chance in the final stages, but goalkeeper Naumann remained in good form and kept his box clean. In stoppage time, Pestic also saw the traffic light card, which made the mishap perfect for the Berliners.

Leipzig remains at the top

With this victory, Lok Leipzig has now clinched its twelfth win of the season from 14 games. This means they have extended their lead at the top of the table to four points over Jena. BFC Dynamo, on the other hand, remains in a disappointing 12th place and urgently needs to improve to avoid becoming further involved in the relegation battle.

Leipzig shows impressively that they can deliver a strong performance even without their coach, who had to watch from the stands. The fans can look forward to the coming games - because with this form, promotion seems to be within reach.
