On Saturday afternoon, June 15, 2025, a spectacular fire occurred in an empty building on Fabrikstrasse in the Böhlitz-Ehrenberg district of Leipzig. Challenges during extinguishing work

However, the fire department was able to successfully extinguish the fire while the police were also at the scene to monitor the situation.
