Benzinger hunt and rain: The spectacular BMW meeting in Grossenhain!

Großenhain, Deutschland - A touch of asphalt and petrol and the enthusiasm of tuning enthusiasts: the BMW meeting, better known as "Syndika Asphaltfeiter", has fulfilled the air over the Grosshainer Airfield this year. Planned for four days, the event attracted participants from all over Germany and the neighboring countries. The start on Thursday was still crowned by the best weather, which transformed the temporarily furnished campsite into a busy zone in which the brand fans gathered and presented their vehicles.

Martin Schneider, the chief organizer of the event, reported on the quick implementation of the event after the original location in Thuringia was canceled. But not everything went according to plan: the preparations were briefly on the brink, since rescue operations in the Gohrischheide fire area complicated the situation. However, the joy of the tuning lovers was unbroken and many vehicles, often very modified, caused an impressive sound with their loud exhaust noises.

attractions and challenges

The meeting came up with numerous competitions, including drift championships and sprint competitions that caused additional thrills. However, the mood was clouded by the onset of rain on Friday, which caused many participants to leave the meeting prematurely. Unfortunately, even the planned fireworks display had to be canceled on Saturday due to the risk of forest fire - a double damper for the celebrations.

The organizers raised a garbage deposit of 10 euros for waste disposal, which the participants could get back when returning a garbage bag. This procedure shows awareness of environmental protection and the responsibility of the organizers towards nature, even in the exciting atmosphere of a tuning event.
