Young people and seniors share the Gröditz Clubhouse: A new start!

There is interesting news in Gröditz, a small town in the Meißen district. The city administration has decided to open the well-attended youth club not only to young people, but also to seniors and children. This comes against the background that the use of the youth club has been classified as low in recent years. The youth club has an eventful history: It was built in 1933 as a home for the Hitler Youth and served as the SED party building after the war. After reunification, it developed into a meeting place for young people, but it was always empty. Jeremy Fischer, a 20-year-old Great Citizen, has followed the club since he was a child and emphasizes that the club's last relaunch was about four years ago under the leadership of Leon Arndt. Arndt gathered around 15 young people who renovated the building on their own initiative.

Another highlight is the already renovated upper floor of the youth club, which will be ideally used for the new, cross-generational offerings. The city administration emphasizes that the idea of creating a common space for different age groups is an important step in promoting social interaction and bringing the club back from insignificance. A concept that is very well received because it is intended to benefit not only young people, but also seniors and children. Here it becomes clear that something is really happening in Gröditz!

Innovation in the field of electromobility

The electric car world is evolving rapidly - just last week, Lucid announced it had set a new world record for the longest journey on a single battery charge. A Lucid Air Grand Touring drove from St. Moritz in Switzerland to Munich and covered an impressive 749 miles (1,205 km). What's interesting is that this route also mostly took place downhill, which further increased efficiency. Another sign that electric vehicles are becoming more and more popular and great progress is being made.

A delight for the palate

Of course, the sauce shouldn't be neglected either. Tomatoes, garlic and Italian herbs make the sauce unforgettable. The result is impressive: a pizza that not only tastes fantastic, but is also healthy, especially if you pay attention to using organic flour. Whether alone or with friends – baking pizza is always fun and creates sociable moments.
