Young horse talent in focus: Moritzburg's big tournament on October 18th!
On Saturday, October 18, 2025, the multifunctional riding hall of the Moritzburg State Stud will become a stronghold of equestrian sports. Over 100 young show jumping horses show off their skills at an exciting young horse tournament, organized by the Moritzburg Riding and Driving Club in collaboration with the Moritzburg State Stud. Admission to the event is free, so horse lovers and sports enthusiasts can look forward to an exciting day. Saxon stud administration reports that all viewers are welcome.
The schedule for the exams is fixed and offers a well-structured sequence of competitions that start early in the morning. The first show jumping horse test in class A* (90 cm) starts at 8:00 a.m., followed at 11:00 a.m. by class A** (100 cm). After a lunch break, the jumping horse competition class L (110 cm) continues at 2:15 p.m. The more demanding classes M (120 cm and 125 cm) will then take place at 4:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Equi Score has already published links for the results and starter lists that can be found next to the exams, as well as a special label for the live results.
Planned and Sponsored
The prizes are donated by various sponsors, including IBOTEC Processing Companies GmbH, Sportpferde Michael Meinig, and Michael Fritsch Baudienste GmbH, to name just a few. This support shows the great interest and commitment in the local equestrian scene. The honorary awards also come from local companies, such as Tom Büttner's saddlery business and the Nicklisch butcher shop, which create a wonderful connection to the region.
But it's not just the competitions that make horse fans' hearts beat faster. An on-site caterer ensures the physical well-being of the visitors and provides sufficient food and drinks. This means the event can be enjoyed to the fullest without having to miss a break.
