New wind at Halleschen FC: Robert Schröder takes over the coaching office!

The Hallesche FC has found a new head coach with Robert Schröder for the coming season in the football regional league northeast. Schröder, who most recently worked for the regional league competitor Hertha 03 Zehlendorf, succeeds Mark Zimmermann. Despite an ongoing contract last Sunday, this was released from his tasks, since not everyone was convinced of his ability to take the next development step with the team. The HFC had taken second place last season and won the trophy, which increases the expectation to the new coach.

The official announcement of Schröder's obligation was on June 18, 2025. The 37-year-old signed a ligaun-dependent contract that applies until June 30, 2027. Sports director Daniel Meyer praised Schröder's professional competence and his analysis skills, which he demonstrated in a ten -year engagement at Hertha Zehlendorf. "Schröder is an ambitious trainer talent that we could get on board," said Meyer.

Schröder’s career

Robert Schröder was born in Erfurt and began his football career at Rot-Weiß Erfurt. He was also active for Viktoria Berlin and Hertha 03 before moving to the coaching business in 2021. His extensive experience both as a player and as a trainer meets numerous criteria of the HFC, including ascent experience, regional connection and profound knowledge of the league.

Schröder himself expressed the desire to establish himself full -time as a trainer and sees the perfect way to this at Halleschen FC. This new challenge comes at exactly the right time and offers the framework conditions that it needs for successful further development. In the next season it will now be exciting to see how the team will develop under his leadership.

the view of the competition
