A very special event is planned in Central Saxony on November 14th: Late Shift 2025 opens the doors of six regional companies and offers job seekers and interested parties exciting insights into various industries. For the third time, the Central Saxony district is inviting you to take a look behind the scenes and get an impression of the diverse career opportunities in the region. [Central Saxony District] reports that the focus will be particularly on aviation, hygiene products and interior design.
The event promises a varied evening in which you can find out how innovative aviation solutions are developed in companies such as COTESA GmbH in Mittweida and Döbeln. Visitors can also visit KONMAB GmbH in Rossau, which specializes in high-performance fans, as well as Hygiene Oederan Produktionsgesellschaft mbH, which is known for its hygiene products. The company WSVK GmbH in Oederan, which is active in plastics processing, Rosskopf + Partner AG in Augustusburg, which specializes in interior design, and Felix Schoeller GmbH & Co. KG in Weißenborn, which produces paper products, are also opening their doors.
Insights and dialogue
The event not only offers the opportunity to experience production processes up close, but also to have direct conversations with employees. “It is a great opportunity to discover the economic strength of the region and get to know the variety of professional opportunities,” says project coordinator Katrin Haußmann. The tours are free of charge and can be easily booked online at www.industriekultur-chemnitz.de. A total of around 100 companies and institutions in the economic region are opening their doors.
The late shift is also ideal for those who are interested in shift work, even if this is not always the first choice for many employees. The events aim to provide a clearer picture of the working world in Central Saxony and to promote exchange between employers and potential employees.
