Roßweiner Kommunalhardt Service GmbH wins silver award for quality!

On June 27, 2025, Roßweiner Kommunalhardt Service GmbH was awarded the silver Ludwig Erhard Prize. This honor is also a significant milestone for the company, which is now proudly one of the five award-winning craft businesses. How Sächsische.de reports, the award is one of the most valuable awards for the company, which has already distinguished itself through other successes.

The presentation of the trophy took place in the Meistersaal in Berlin, where Linda Teuteberg, deputy chairwoman of the Ludwig Erhard Foundation, presented the award. In the “small companies” category, Kommunalhardt Service GmbH was able to achieve silver placement, the highest level awarded for this category. This success is no coincidence - the jury recognized the company's commitment to quality and responsible action as crucial.

Teamwork pays off

A look behind the scenes shows that ultimately a strong team is at the heart of this success. The management jubilantly thanked the entire team for their tireless efforts in various certifications such as EFQM, Economy for the Common Good and others. The Walter Stuber GmbH emphasizes that customer feedback and the support from Layher Gerüste, which provides high-quality materials, were also important factors for the positive result.

Walter Stuber himself plans to hand over his 50 percent share to his son Ingolf at the end of the year, who will continue to run the business together with co-managing director Dirk Eckart. “This award is an incentive to continue our mission and to position Kommunalhardt Service GmbH as a symbol of quality and sustainability in scaffolding construction,” says Stuber.

The significance of the Ludwig Erhard Prize

The Ludwig Erhard Prize is not only an award, but also an incentive for companies to continuously improve. The initiative promotes the idea of excellence, where organizations can learn from organizations. ILEP describes that volunteer assessors evaluate the performance of the applicant organizations according to strict criteria. The competition process includes various steps aimed at highlighting an organization's strengths and potential for improvement.

For Kommunalhardt Service GmbH, the award is not only a reason to celebrate, but also a motivation to continue on the path it has chosen. The company is optimistic about the future and looks forward to being featured in the renowned Brandeins magazine – another goal on the path to excellence.
