Sven Krüger in the district run: partnership and health campus in focus!

Calw, Deutschland - The district administrator of Central Saxony, Sven Krüger, went on a trip to the partner district of Calw in Baden-Württemberg. The reason for this was the third district course, in which he started together with the district council Dirk Guhl. Almost 50 seasons with at least four participants, including a team from the Polish district of Gleiwitz, have faced the challenge. The goal? To complete as many stadium rounds of 800 meters as possible within 90 minutes. Krüger emphasizes the long -term tradition of exchange at those events that strengthen the sense of community.

What is behind this visit? As part of the extensive program, in addition to the sporting competition, the construction of a new railway and the district office was also on the agenda. However, the focus of the talks was the health care in the district. The construction of a health campus is planned that focuses on both stationary and outpatient medical care. Cooperation partners are clinics, resident doctors and care facilities who want to work for better health care. The investments for this amount to around 180 million euros.

Health Campus Calw: A future -oriented project

The new health campus in Calw should not only strengthen the medical basis in the district, but also bundle a wide network of specialists from medicine, health and care. Services are offered in the areas of pharmaceutical, care, prevention, rehabilitation and social work. The aim is to improve health care holistically and to structure the offers in the immediate vicinity of each other, which benefits the citizens. This can also be seen in the efforts to create a central point of contact for health issues. Interested parties can be found on the website of the Gesundheitscampus calw .

But this step is not an isolated case. Europe is facing huge challenges in the health sector: the increasing costs due to a higher number of chronic diseases, an aging population, the growing requirements due to social changes and the dangers of infectious diseases are just a few topics that need to be addressed. A sustainable solution to this can only be found through investments in research, technology and international collaborations, as the University of Tübingen shows. uni-tuebingen.de

During his visit, District Administrator Krüger handed over a very special gift to the hosts: a picture of the golden gate from Freiberg, which was printed on wood. This work of art history was created around 1225 and is one of the treasures of European late romish. This not only strengthens the sporting and health partnership between the counties, but also deepened the cultural connection.
