40-year-old Oschatzer convicted of sexually abusing girls

A shocking case of sexual abuse in Oschatz has led to a verdict that has moved the public. 40-year-old Harald K. was brought to court on July 17, 2025 and convicted of sexually assaulting two girls aged 12 and 13. The incidents occurred in April 2021 and April 2022, with the most serious incident occurring on April 13, 2022, when 13-year-old Cindy L. was walking with K.

During the walk, K. pulled down his pants and exposed his genitals. Confession and judgment

The court decided not to question the victims because K. had already made his confession.

The public prosecutor's office demanded a prison sentence of one year and four months and the payment of 2,500 euros to a victims' organization. The defense attorney largely agreed with this request.
