At the first coffee gossip in June, the shops did not go quite as well, there were many cakes left here. Ewald was well prepared for the current event and reduced the amount of cakes to six. Nevertheless, this was not enough, which is why she would like to increase on eight cakes next time, on August 10th. "I spend three days with baking," she says, while family and friends take care of the sale and guest support.

The garden extends over a whopping 3,000 square meters and offers enough space for happy conversations and relaxed hours in nature. Ewald is still planning another three events this year. On September 14th, which also coincides with the day of the open garden door in Delitzsch, the garden café not only comes up with cakes, but also with a crumble cake. Other gardens in the area also open their doors to give visitors a look behind the scenes.

The event is accompanied by various activities. A watercolor painting workshop is offered for the little visitors, in which hobby painters provide instructions and provide the materials. There is also coffee, cake as well as hot and cold drinks. The management is located in the community garden at the water tower. It will also be visited on August 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
