The campaign on the theme of “Food in a historical context” is aimed primarily at children between the ages of 6 and 12, who can take part when accompanied by an adult. The little participants not only get to learn something about the Elector's eating habits, but also experience a short play that brings the content they have learned to life.

A special highlight also awaits you with a range of creative decorations: the children can design their own wooden spoons with a brandy. For just 5 euros per child and 5 euros for the accompanying person, you not only get access to this exciting event, but also to the varied exhibitions that can currently be seen in Hartenfels Castle. These include “Standfest. Bible Festival. Drinking Festival.”, “Torgau. Residence of the Renaissance and Reformation” and “FAIRYTALES. Stories from the fairytale castle”.
