On October 31, 2025, the Trabant and IFA interest group Upper Elbe Valley met for the traditional final drive, and the event attracted more than 60 historic vehicles with a total of 115 participants. The exciting starting signal was given in the parking lot of a supermarket in Heidenau, from where the nostalgic journey began.
The route ran for around 78 kilometers through the picturesque Müglitztal, past Glashütte and on to Altenberg. During a midday stop at the “Abseiten” youth club, the participants were able to exchange their experiences and strengthen themselves before continuing through Bad Gottleuba-Berggiesshübel. The highlight of the tour was the stop at the Langenhennersdorf waterfall before the caravan ended at the GDR Museum in Pirna. The sunny, autumnal weather framed the trip and created a great atmosphere among the classic car lovers.

Not only typical GDR vehicles such as Trabant, Wartburg and Barkas were represented in the impressive convoy.
