Bannewitz celebrates football thriller and promotion to the Saxon class!

Bannewitzer Mühlenweg, 01728 Bannewitz, Deutschland - An exciting football Sunday ended in the Bannewitzer Mühlenweg, because SV Bannewitz secured the promotion to the Saxon class on the last match day of the Saxon Switzerland/Osterzgebirge soccer district league Saxon Switzerland/Osterzgebirge with a 2-1 win against SG Wallwitz. This result came about after a gripping game, which followed 143 spectators with excitement. At halftime it was still 0-0, but coach Steffen Illner found the right words during the break to motivate his team.

The second half began to be promising for the Bannewitzer: Florian Schmieder scored the 1-0 lead in the 46th minute by flying head. Just three minutes later, Robin gloss increased to 2-0. Jan Oldenburg for Wengwitz reduced to 2-1 in the 68th minute by penalty, but Bannewitz was no longer able to win. With this crucial success you celebrate the ascent while BSV Sebnitz, who won a 4-0 against TSV Kreischa, foregoing a promotion option.

The competition does not sleep

But not only Bannewitz can cheer. SC Freital II has also achieved great ones: With a 3-0 win against Heidenauer SV, the team secured the championship in the football Saxony class East early before the end of the season. The lead over the pursuer FSV 1990 Neusalza-Spremberg is impressive five points, even though the SC Freital II has been at the top of the table since the eighth matchday. In the coming season, the team will meet VfL Pirna-Copitz, which, on the other hand, secured the relegation. The struggle for relegation
