Corona numbers in the Vogtland district: One week with only two new infections!

In the last few weeks, the situation surrounding COVID-19 in Vogtlandkreis has stabilized. According to current information from news.de No new RKI data was published in Vogtlandkreis on August 22, 2025, which indicates delays in data transmission. These uncertainties in the flow of information make it difficult to assess the current situation.

However, there were only two new infections last week, resulting in a 7-day incidence of 0.9 per 100,000 inhabitants. This is a particularly encouraging sign. There are also currently 26 intensive care beds in the district, 20 of which are occupied - although there are no COVID patients in the intensive care unit. This gives hope that health care in the Vogtland district offers enough scope to adequately care for other medical cases.
