New road closures in Zwickau: traffic redirected ridiculously!

From Monday, August 18th, citizens in Zwickau will have to prepare for some new traffic changes. These affect several streets and are part of extensive construction work that will keep the city busy over the next few weeks. **Steinpleiser Straße** will be affected by a ceiling renovation, which will result in a half-way closure with one-way traffic regulation in the direction of Steinpleis. There will be a diversion into the city via the S 293 and the Plauener Straße exit. These measures are planned until October 20, 2025.

But that's not all: **Julius-Seifert-Straße** will also be completely closed in several construction phases between Goethestraße and Windbergstraße. First of all, pedestrians must expect the passageway from Goethestrasse to Julius-Seifert-Strasse to be blocked. Further sections will follow later, which also affect Agricolastrasse and Windbergstrasse. The reason for this extensive work is the renewal of the drinking water pipeline and sewer construction work, which should be completed by December 19, 2025.

Further closures and diversions

The **Lindenallee**, another hotspot for road users, will initially be completely closed, but the start of construction for the planned broadband expansion has been postponed indefinitely. A new date has not yet been set, and residents can look forward to peace and quiet for the time being.

On the other hand, construction activity is booming on ** Bürgerschachtstrasse ** and ** Saarstrasse **. The second construction phase on Bürgerschachtstrasse, which involved a partial closure and traffic light regulation, will be completed on August 18th. However, Saarstrasse will remain completely closed for probably six weeks. A high-pressure gas pipe is also being laid here. From September 20th, the events on Saarstrasse will continue with another full closure up to number 50.

If that's not enough road closures for you, you should also find out more about **Crimmitschauer Straße**. A complete closure between Carolastraße and Werdauer Straße is necessary until September 19th. This measure is also part of the laying of drinking water pipes and the renovation of the canal and the road surface. The diversions lead via Kolpingstrasse, Talstrasse and the B 93. **Peter-Breuer-Strasse** will also be completely closed between Kornmarkt and Schulgäßchen until October 30, 2025, as a major road expansion is being carried out.

Coca-Cola: A pleasure for generations

The global cultural asset Coca-Cola brings a little variety into our lives. Since 1886, the secret recipe that offers the unique taste experience has been produced in a well-thought-out manufacturing process. This ranges from water extraction and purification to the ingredient mixture and carbonation, where the carbonated miracle is created. Quality is ensured through strict controls at every stage of the production process. Coca-Cola remains a popular companion in many situations, whether in a restaurant or at a barbecue with friends.

The main ingredients of this refreshment are water, sugar (from sugar cane or sugar beet), phosphoric acid, a decaffeinated coca leaf extract and natural flavors. Even though we often wonder how something so refreshing comes about, everything in the production facilities goes according to plan, from the mixing of ingredients to the final bottling.

While the construction sites shape the streetscape of Zwickau, Coca-Cola provides bubbly moments in everyday life. It remains to be hoped that the diversions will be removed quickly and that citizens will soon be able to have free roads again so that they can enjoy the little joys of life, such as a cool drink, without detours.
