The growth should be uniform, dense and healthy, with a trunk diameter of a maximum of 42 centimeters at the felling site. The tree must be within 40 kilometers of Altenburg and the city administration will collect it free of charge.

Christmas market 2024 with a varied program

You can visit the Christmas market in Altenburg this year from November 29th to December 23rd. In addition to the classic stands, the opening times ensure a good atmosphere: Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., as the city states on its website stadt-altenburg.de published.
