SPD summer tour: Elisabeth Kaiser's constituency team listens to East Thuringians!

The anticipation of summer is palpable in Eastern Thuringia! The constituency team of SPD Bundestag member Elisabeth Kaiser is going on a summer tour. In the coming days, the MP will invite her fellow citizens to talk to people at the market. The opening event will take place on Monday, July 7th, from 9 a.m. at the market in Gera. This is followed by visits to the various markets in the region, including the Schmöllner market on Tuesday, the Ronneburger market on Wednesday and the Meuselwitzer market on Thursday, also at 9 a.m. The summer tour ends with further dates in Weida and Greiz. All details about the events can be found on Elisabeth Kaiser's website and her social media channels.

Although Elisabeth Kaiser is currently on maternity leave and cannot take part herself, her team is well prepared. The aim of the political summer tour was to talk directly to the citizens of Eastern Thuringia and listen to their concerns. “It is important to me to listen and find out about the issues that concern people,” said the MP, who is known for her approachable manner.

Elisabeth Kaiser took the time to thank the citizens for their participation and to emphasize the importance of the dialogue offers. "The exchange with people is very important to me. I will take the concerns I have heard with me to the SPD parliamentary group," she explained. Involving associations, clubs and companies is also part of their planning to ensure a broad perspective. An insight into the everyday life of the Textile Research Institute Thuringia-Vogtland e.V. in Greiz also gave citizens the opportunity to see how business and research are linked.

Kaiser will be in Berlin in the next few weeks, but plans to set up further appointments in the constituency in order to continue to stay close to her voters. She has already demonstrated a good knack for maintaining contact with citizens with these cases, and the positive response to her events speaks for itself.
