Eichsfeld expects exciting events: concert, Christmas tour and more!
On November 8th, 2025 there will be a lot to report in Eichsfeld again. TEAG Thüringer Energie AG has put an exciting new thing on the table: The “IdeenMachenSchule” project competition offers students in grades 1 to 4 the opportunity to submit creative ideas. A total of 53 project proposals had been received by October 15th. The jury now has the task of selecting 15 winning projects from this large number. Particularly noteworthy is the Gernrode primary school's winning project, which is presented under the motto “Healthy and sustainable”. This initiative places a clear focus on sustainability, regional products and healthy nutrition. The school thus shows great commitment to the environment and the health of its students. The Thüringer Allgemeine reports.
But that's not all that the coming days have to offer. On November 12th, the Urania event series “Lines of Life” with Gisela Reinhardt will continue in Leinefelde. Another highlight is on the calendar for November 15th: The Lingemann-Gymnasium in Heiligenstadt invites you to a graduate meeting. Old friends can get together here and chat about times gone by.
Cultural events and more
For music lovers there is a concert with the band TM6 in the Eichsfelder Kulturhaus on November 14th. This event promises to be a real treat. In addition, the first Eichsfeld Tourism Day will take place on the same day in the Marcel Callo House, which will focus on the topic of “Spiritual Tourism” with specialist lectures and discussions on the topics of spiritual tourism and regional offers. If you want to learn more about nature, you shouldn't miss the lecture on pollard trees on rivers on November 12th at the Reifenstein Nature Conservation Center.
The pre-Christmas period also has something very special in store: the pleasure bus Christmas tour on December 14th takes you to a monastery market and a traditional distillery. Here you can experience traditional crafts and culinary delights.
For everyone who is interested in world-class music, there will also be a concert with the renowned musician Jan Garbarek in the Stadthalle Göttingen on November 11th. This event could also be of interest to many guests from Cologne and the surrounding area, because Garbarek's music takes listeners into a very unique sound world.
