In a few days the...VR Bank Summer Cup 2025ushered in. On Thursday, theJuly 17th, the eagerly awaited tournament of SV Unit 1875 Worbis begins, which traditionally enjoys great popularity. Play the opening gameSV unit Worbisand theTSV Landolfshausen/Seulingenon the sports field in Desingerode. The venue not only offers fans exciting football matches, but also a wide range of gastronomic offerings.
Kick overallsix teamscompete against each other in two preliminary round groups before the final games on Sunday, DecemberJuly 27th, to be carried out. The tournament not only offers exciting encounters, but also a platform for athletes of all ages and unites the community. The individual groups are composed as follows:

The finals onJuly 27thare also a highlight of the tournament. The game for third place starts at 12:00 p.m., followed by the small final at 2:00 p.m. and the grand finale at 4:00 p.m.
The tournament in a larger context
The SV unit Worbis, which is around300 active memberscounts, is known for his commitment to football. In collaboration with the Eichsfeld youth development association and regional partner associations, the club places particular emphasis on promoting young talent. Licensed trainers train and play in different age groups, which is very popular in the region.
The Euro sports ring has also organized numerous youth football tournaments in Germany, which enable young players to compete with talent from other countries. These tournaments stand for fair play, exciting games and a comprehensive supporting program, which ranges from opening ceremonies to award ceremonies. The offer ranges from overnight accommodation in schools to hotels, and the food is usually provided on a half-board basis.
The sporting events in the region are kept alive through such tournaments and not only offer the players a springboard, but also the spectators the opportunity to experience the local football culture up close.
