What's going on in Leinefelde? On Friday, September 12th, the young people of the city and the surrounding area will be off on an exploration tour under the motto#NotMyStain. The event begins at 4:30 p.m. in the children's and youth center at Goethestrasse 10. All young people between the ages of 12 and 20 are warmly invited to get to know their city from a new perspective and to actively help shape it.

After a short welcome event, participants will be divided into groups to explore different locations in Leinefelde. This exciting tour offers the opportunity to photograph locations that could use a refresh or makeover. Thuringian General reports that ideas for increasing attractiveness are also discussed during the exploration. Afterwards, participants can look forward to a convivial barbecue evening, where representatives of the local council are present to exchange the impressions they have collected and answer questions.

Creating and networking together

A key goal of the event is not only to connect young people, but also to actively participate in shaping their city. This campaign is supported by various organizations, including the Leinefelde Ecumenical Working Group and Caritas Eichsfeld-Nordthüringen. In addition to cooking courses that focus on Indian and international cuisine, there are also creative offerings such as painting and sewing courses. In addition, those interested can take part in a guitar crash course at the Dingelstädter Family Center, which will take place on September 13th and 27th and October 11th.
