Rustling leaves: techno open air in the heart of Erfurt!
On Saturday, July 12, 2025, the Lukas Kirchgarten in Erfurt-Daberstedt will be transformed into a pulsating techno open-air location from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Under the name “Blätterrauschen”, the Melodic Bustle collective organizes an event together with DJ Monastic Kid, also known as Michael Müller, that focuses on relaxed dancing and a cozy get-together in a family atmosphere. Inspired by the idea that came about during a family celebration in the church garden, the event is aimed at neighbors, friends and the entire community.
“Blätterrauschen” combines nature and music and aims to offer guests a welcoming environment that is far removed from mass events. Instead of large stages, the focus here is on the idea of community: no stalls, but a place to listen and relax. The loving decoration with fabrics, lights and awnings also creates an inviting atmosphere. The church garden, consecrated in 1912 and known for its large trees and meadows, offers the perfect setting for this event.
Music and lineup
The musical program of the Leaf Rushing open-air event is impressive. Guests can look forward to a live set by Adam Reise & Alena, which combines electronic sounds, vocals and instruments. Juliane Wolf will impress with her deep house and melodic techno, while Mats Allvar and Monastic Kid will mix progressive house rhythms with powerful melodic elements. This stylistic diversity is a highlight for all music lovers.
Open event for everyone
A special feature of the event is that it is open to all age groups: children, families and solo travelers are warmly invited. The concept promotes exchange and interaction with one another, so that it is easy to start a conversation. The collective's long-term plans also include repeating the event every year at different, special locations.
At the same time, numerous electronic festivals are taking place at other venues. For example, the Airbeat One Festival, which starts on July 9th in Neustadt-Glewe and lasts until July 13th and is very popular with 65,000 visitors expected. The Ultra Europe Festival, which takes place in Split, Croatia, from July 11th to 13th and attracts a huge audience of 150,000 visitors, also shows how the electronic scene is flourishing. So it's clear that the events in Germany and beyond attract a large audience, which underlines the commitment and passion for this style of music.
The Leaf Rushing open-air event aims to differentiate itself from the larger festivals and places emphasis on mindfulness and respect for the surroundings, which is particularly important in today's world. In addition, other formats such as the corn maze open air and the afterwork sessions in the Kehrs Hotel are scheduled for August.
For anyone looking for a unique experience in a relaxed environment, the Rustling Leaves Open-Air is the perfect destination. On this day, music, nature and community will merge into an unforgettable experience.
