After Clueso and Sido's big concerts at Erfurt Cathedral Square last weekend, the city of Erfurt wrote an open letter complaining about the mountains of garbage left behind. The sight on Sunday morning was anything but pleasant: over 50 garbage bags were needed to clear up the chaos that reigned outside the event area. The slope of the Petersberg was heavily trampled, while the newly installed slope protection and the freshly sown lawns were significantly damaged. In such a state, maintaining the landscape is a challenge. Nevertheless, many visitors remained careless and left nature to its fate after celebrating.

The city once again appeals to visitors not to enter these newly created areas in order not to cause unnecessary damage to their environment and not to endanger the success of the measures.
