"We are horrified that such acts can happen in our city. It is particularly tragic that the neighbor could push the chick, even though he was addressed during the crime.

A week before the incident in the city garden, a deaf that was unable to fly was found at the Juri Gagarin-Ring/corner of Krampferstrasse. This had no swing springs and all tail springs were torn down. The injured pigeon was called "Lisbeth" without further ado and is now being treated in a foster home. The pigeon must be put under anesthesia for comprehensive treatment so that the missing springs can grow back. The association assumes the veterinary costs by donations.
