The Krämerbrückenfest celebrated not only the bridge itself, but also the ancient tradition of trade and cultural exchange in Erfurt. With a length of about 120 meters, the grocer bridge is the longest bridge built with houses in Europe. The city's security concept was rated as extremely successful. The police, fire brigade and regulatory services were on site and ensured that everything went smoothly. Mayor Andreas Horn was enthusiastic about the words "We are proud of this festival" and thanked everyone involved and the residents for their help. With regard to the further development of the festival, a survey is available by June 22, 2026, in which suggestions and wishes of visitors are collected. In the meantime, the next dates have also been determined: The Krämerbrückenfest will take place again in 2026 from June 19 to 21. The anticipation for this is already noticeable.
