In the tranquil Biberschlag, a town in the Hildburghausen district, the disappearance of a 71-year-old man is causing concern. According to recent reports from South Thuringia and Press portal Michael Saupe has been missing since Monday, July 7, 2025. Last sighting: gardening when neighbors saw him mowing the lawn on the main street. The last contact with the family via a voice message service turned out to be on Tuesday, and his whereabouts have been unknown since then.
Until recently, Mr. Saupe was active as managing director of a company in Lower Saxony, but resigned from his position for health reasons. The senior's disappearance now raises questions; the police cannot rule out a helpless situation. It is assumed that he may be in an older gray Mercedes C200 with the city code Hanover (H-).
