Senior Advisory Board Hildburghausen: Excursion to the Veßra monastery inspires 46 participants!

On June 17, 2025, the time had finally come: The Hildburghausen senior advisory board had organized a bus ride to the Henneberg Museum Museum Kloster Veßra, which triggered great joy among the participants. A total of 46 seniors took part in this excursion trip, which offered the elderly a welcome change. Museum director Mr. Weidig welcomed the group and led them through the exciting exhibitions. Despite the summer heat, the impressions from the cultural -historical site were consistently positive, the weather contributed to the successful event. The participants: then had the opportunity to explore the museum independently and to enjoy what they saw in peace.

A special highlight was the coffee table in the goal church, which was lovingly prepared by the friendly staff of the museum. After the tour, a sociable get -together with coffee and cake provided lively conversations and happy faces. A big thank you deserves to the employees of the museum, who looked after the event so charmingly. The journey was financed by the “Landes program of solidarity together - LSZ”, which also made participation easier for the elderly. The consultation takes place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the former tourist information in the historic town hall. The board is available for questions and suggestions under the direction of chairman Ulrich Teichmann and deputy Tamara Koch. Unfortunately, the next consultation hour must be canceled on April 3, 2025 due to illness.
