New family pass in the ILM district: Experience the fifth edition!

Ilmenauer Gewerbegebiet „Am Wald“, 98708 Ilmenau, Deutschland - Families in the region can look forward to: The family pass of the ILM district starts in its fifth edition in July 2025 and promises an exciting selection of offers for young and old. A total of 4,500 copies will be available in the coming weeks. District Administrator Petra Enders recently presented the new pass in the yoga studio "break room", which is operated by Mandy Gries-Lutze and is represented in the pass for the third time. The presentation took place at the location in the Ilmenau industrial area "Am Wald" and started a happy start for the new developments.

What can the families expect in the new passport? The updated family pass is now available in over 40 output points in the ILM district. In addition to proven popular offers, the pass will also introduce new voucher partners this year. Compared to previous years, the numbers are gratifying: From 32 voucher partners in 2022, the number was increased to 39 in 2023 and 43 in 2024. The new participants include, for example, the “Workshop of the Heart” from Lanewiesen, the P2 sports and leisure park in Arnstadt and the Naturcamp Meyersgrund.

a colorful offer for families

This year's family pass was visually spiced up and now contains colored circles that present the different categories: 21 yellow circles for social institutions as well as art and culture, 7 green circles for outdoor offers, 15 blue circles for sports and 10 red circles. In addition, users receive useful information on advice and support in the ILM district, for example through the emergency island project and services of the youth welfare office. A QR code for career orientation films and information on training and study opportunities in the district office is also on board. The passport is free and applies from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

The motto of the new passport is "create experiences". The district administrator and her employees are actively looking for other cooperation partners who want to participate. The goal is clear: families should be promoted to experience joint activities and to leave everyday life behind. It is possible to participate as a voucher partner free of charge. Institutions can develop their ideas and offers and rely on support from the district office.

The family pass will be available in around 40 positions in the ILM district and offers space for many exciting events and leisure activities. Club institutions and cultural offers are invited to draw attention to themselves via the passport.
