Two severe motorcycle accidents in the Sonneberg district - injured and property damage!

On Friday, June 13, 2025 around 3:00 p.m., a 41-year-old motorcyclist lost control in a left curve on his BMW. The motorcyclist crashed and slipped against the right guardrail, which led to serious injuries. The emergency services were quickly on hand and flew it to a clinic by helicopter. The resulting property damage was considerable - both on the BMW and on the guardrail.

The next day, on Saturday, June 14, 2025, there was another incident in Neuhäuser Strasse in Sonneberg shortly before 5:20 p.m. A 46-year-old driver of a Suzuki motorcycle collided with a car. The driver of the Seat wanted to turn left into an entrance, which the motorcyclist noticed too late. Fortunately, the 46-year-old was only slightly injured, but the property damage was noticeable: around 3,000 euros on the motorcycle and around 4,500 euros on the car. The police warn for caution and appeals to all road users, especially in curves and in turning processes.
