On October 29, 2025, interested parties between the ages of 13 and 34 will experience the world of police up close during a trial day at the Schmalkalden-Meiningen police station. This special day provides an opportunity to gain an insight into the different facets of the police service. The event will take place from 7 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. at Leipziger Straße 21 in Meiningen. Visitors can look forward to guided tours of the facilities, practical demonstrations of operational equipment and a variety of interactive discussions with experienced police officers. For many who may already be thinking about pursuing a career in the police, this is the ideal time to ask questions about training, studies and career opportunities.
