In the small world of the “Nessetal” primary school in Wenigenlupnitz, the plush toy SaBiene has had a really big adventure. This charming Class 1a mascot has won the hearts of students week after week. SaBiene travels home with a child from class and becomes a loyal companion who has exciting experiences. Eisenach Online reports on the remarkable adventures that SaBiene has already experienced, including a visit to the Viba chocolate factory, the excitement of a basketball tournament and even the exciting open day at the Eisenach fire department. A particular highlight was a visit to a thermal bath, although SaBiene didn't dare go into the water.

On November 9th, 2025, SaBiene accompanied little Darleen Hase to the DLRG Bambini competition in Sömmerda. There the incredible happened: SaBiene received her seahorse! Darleen explained with shining eyes that you need a seahorse to help in the water and save yourself. An important step on the way to the great water world!

Water adventures and safety

But swimming is not fun without responsibility. Dorothea Rose, the technical manager for training in Eisenach, makes it clear that the seahorse alone does not ensure the necessary safety in the water. “The bronze swimming badge offers more security,” says Rose. There are even plans for SaBiene to get the bronze badge the next time she visits the swimming pool - there is still a lot to offer!

Such experiences with plush friends are not only entertaining, they also promote children's sense of responsibility. SaBiene has established herself as a real role model and teaches kids how important it is to be safe in the water.

About music and farms

In Florida, for example, there is Parish Family Farm, a family-run blueberry farm in Eagle Lake that specializes in fresh commercial harvest and U-Pick blueberries. This farm has a lot to offer during the U-Pick season, which typically begins in late April or early May. Some U-Pick farms also have a farmers market or fruit stands, which are perfect family getaways. However, it is important to note that opening times may vary depending on the weather and it is advisable to contact the farm before visiting - a little organization never hurts.

The variety of experiences and stories, be it about little SaBiene, who passed her first swimming test, or the juicy blueberries in Florida, shows that there are exciting adventures everywhere.
