Barchfeld children's choir conquers Berlin: Little Socks rocks the stage!
On June 22, 2025, Bad Salzungen experienced a musical highlight when the Barchfeld children's choir “Little Socks” performed on the market square stage at the city festival. Under the direction of choir director Sandra Erbe-Grozdanic, 23 talented children presented a lively performance that thrilled the audience. But that was just the start: the next big performance in Berlin is on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
At 7 p.m. the choir will perform in the French capital in the well-known Uber Arena in Friedrichshain. The event is titled “6K United – A musical movement out of the classroom and onto the big stage.” This is an interactive choir concert in which over 5,000 children will demonstrate their skills.
A celebration for the whole family
The event in Berlin promises not only an impressive stage performance, but also a variety of attractions. The participants, who have learned songs with their teachers, are accompanied by a live band and background singers. The repertoire includes current German songs as well as international hits, many of them from the Spotify charts, and classical and folkloric pieces are also performed. A fantastic light and stage show is expected, making the concert an unforgettable experience for children and adults.
For support and additional fun there are also programs from Kids culture pass involved, which ensure interaction and participatory activities. Events for a wide range of target groups can be booked here, from kindergartens and schools to larger events and festivals.
Looking forward to the big event
There is great anticipation for the concert in Berlin, and the children in the choir have prepared intensively for this special evening. With eleven carefully selected songs, they are ready to enchant the audience with their singing. “Little Socks” proves once again how important it is to give children the opportunity to express themselves creatively and become part of a large musical community.
We can look forward to an evening full of joy and music. The children's choir is a wonderful example of how music can build bridges and bring people together. It will be an unforgettable day for everyone involved!
