USC Münster starts the new season with a hit game against champions Schwerin!
The Volleyball Bundesliga (VBL) ushers in an exciting new season! The 1st Bundesliga for women starts on October 10, 2025 and provides exciting encounters right from the start. With a total of 93 teams this season, the competition will be more diverse than ever before, and over 1,225 games are on the schedule. Dresdner SC and SC Potsdam will play the first game live on Dyn at 7:00 p.m.
The opening game of USC Münster, which will take place on October 12th at 4:00 p.m. against the reigning German champions SSC Palmberg Schwerin, will be particularly interesting. This means that USC Münster is challenged right from the start and can look forward to a heated duel. All games in the 1st Bundesliga Women can of course be followed live on Dyn, and SPORT1 also shows selected games on free TV. One more reason to find a comfortable spot in front of the TV or in the hall!

This year the league consists of twelve teams, including the new participants Skurios Volleys Borken, Binder Blaubären TSV Flacht and ETV Hamburger Volksbank Volleys. The excitement is great because the 1st Bundesliga Women will compete in a main round, followed by playoffs for the best eight teams. With so many teams and encounters, a thrilling competition is guaranteed!
