role of schools in child protection
A crucial aspect in connection with the preventive approach in schools is of course the protection of the children. According to the School Act North Rhine -Westphalia, teachers must take signs of neglect or abuse seriously. Schools play a central role here, as they are often the first to perceive the signals that indicate a risk. The teachers are trained as part of further training courses in order to react appropriately to such situations and can involve the youth welfare office or other institutions if necessary. These measures are essential building blocks of the child's protection mandate and strengthen the feeling of security among the pupils, such as DetailsOrt Wartburgkreis, Deutschland Quellen
