Weimar, Deutschland - The anticipation for this year's Bach Biennale in Weimar could not be bigger! From Tuesday, July 11th, the city, which once shaped Johann Sebastian Bach, will once again become a meeting point for music lovers from all over the world. Under the direction of festival boss Myriam Eichberger, numerous events are on the program that celebrate the legacy and music of this great composer. A special highlight this year is the new master class with the exciting title "Music Mosaic", which focuses on Bach's early works. In the historical walls of Weimar, not only music is made, but also the bow to literature, dance and theater, which ensures a comprehensive cultural experience.
The Bach Biennale takes place until July 23 and promises a colorful mixed range of events. The focus this year is to stage Weimar as a true Bach city. Bach lived here from 1708 to 1717 and worked as a "concert master" and "Cammer-Musicus" in the ballroom of the city palace. In the old city, the original cellar vaults and foundations of its house are also preserved, which gives the event additional authenticity. Visitors have the opportunity to participate in the open sky in benefit concerts that are supposed to collect money for a future Bachhaus in Weimar.

The program highlights include some exciting concerts and master classes that will take place in the coming days:
