Rave the Planet 2025: Celebrating Peace and Electronic Culture!

An important date is just around the corner: the eagerly awaited “Rave the Planet” event will take place in Berlin on July 11, 2025. From 2 p.m., Straße des 17. Juni will be the setting for a colorful celebration of electronic music under the motto “Our Future Is Now”. Around 300,000 participants are officially registered with the police - proof that anticipation for this event is high. The event is scheduled to end at 10 p.m.

The first Rave the Planet event was launched in 2022 after the Love Parade was canceled in 2010 following a tragic accident. Dr. Motte, a key figure in the Berlin techno scene, and his wife Ellen Dosch-Roeingh initiated the idea for this event. The development of “Rave the Planet” also aims to bring people together for peace and the protection of electronic dance music culture. The event is organized by Rave the Planet gGmbH, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting electronic music culture, as reported by loveparade.net.

Security concept and framework conditions

To ensure the safety of participants, a comprehensive security concept is implemented. Around 600 security guards and 300 helpers in the medical service are available, supplemented by a police presence that is approximately twice as large as in the previous year. Participants are asked to avoid unwanted objects such as national flags or anti-community and anti-equality banners. Glass and pyrotechnics are also officially prohibited.

There are numerous stops available for your journey, such as the Zoological Garden train station and the main train station. However, visitors must be prepared for possible subway closures on Saturday afternoon and evening, especially at the Brandenburg Gate and the Bundestag. From Friday evening onwards, road closures will affect the area surrounding the event in order to enable an orderly festival.

A celebration of diversity and commitment

The event offers a platform for around 290 artists, who are represented by 35 floats and 56 speeches. Well-known DJs such as Westbam, Oguz, Dr. Motte and many others who ensure musical diversity. The event is free and does not require registration; tickets are only required for the floats.
