15 new trainees are starting the future of the Barnim administration!

Next Monday, a new phase of life begins for numerous young people in the Barnim district: the first day of school in the context of public administration. How Barnim Current reported that 15 new trainees will be welcomed, including eight men and six women. District Administrator Daniel Kurth will welcome the young talents at the welcome breakfast and emphasizes the responsibility that comes with the new positions.

These new trainees will be trained in various disciplines. Ten of them begin their training as administrative assistants and receive their theoretical training at the high school centers in Bernau and Eberswalde. New is the training to become an office management clerk, which is started by three trainees. This training includes two days of vocational school in Bernau and three days of practical work in the specialist administrative offices. In addition, there is a trainee who is starting training to become a surveying technician, with the theory being taught at the Eduard Maurer Higher School Center in Hennigsdorf and at an educational institution in Frankfurt (Oder).

An introductory week in which the new trainees get to know important topics such as office IT, data protection and occupational safety ensures a smooth introduction to working life. The staff representation as well as the youth and trainee representation are also on the program. The prospective administrative assistants go through six different specialist offices during their training.
