Hot summer: cult film debut and stars at the Open Air Cinema 2025!
On June 21, 2025 the starting signal was given for the third season of the Open air summer cinema Hobrechtsfelde. With the DEFA classic “Heißer Sommer” the audience was transported to the nostalgia of the 60s. Over 100 visitors came together to enjoy the cult film in the open air. A special highlight was the presence of the leading actress Chris Doerk and Dr. Hartmut König, the songwriter and co-founder of the legendary band “Team 4”.
During the event, the two shared exciting anecdotes from their time filming the film. Dr. König remembered that he was supposed to go to the premiere in Rostock in 1968, but was studying in Leipzig. Chris Doerk spoke about the challenges she had to endure after her separation from Frank Schöbel and explained that the character “Stupsi” was named after her characteristic snub nose. The enthusiasm of the visitors was demonstrated not least by the numerous requests for autographs from the timeless stars.
