New mobility center in Bernau: tickets and advice at the train station!

Bernau is preparing for a new mobility hub! From Monday, October 6th, the newly opened mobility center of the Barnimer Busgesellschaft (BBG) at Breitscheidstrasse 17 in the immediate vicinity of the train station will be ready for use. Here, citizens can again purchase train tickets with personal advice, which is a significant step towards improved transport connections for the region. Loud barnim.de Barnim's district administrator Daniel Kurth and Bernau's mayor André Stahl are also expected at the opening at 10 a.m.

The mobility center will not only offer tickets for Deutsche Bahn, but also tickets and subscriptions from BBG as well as tickets from the Berlin-Brandenburg Transport Association (VBB). This makes this contact point a central service center for regional transport. The three newly hired employees are available to assist passengers with their knowledge and service, as shown on bernau-live.de is to be read.

Opening times and services offered

The opening hours are attractive and customer-friendly: Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. These flexible times allow travelers to buy their tickets easily and without stress and find out about the best connections.

With the commissioning of the mobility center, a further step has been taken in improving public transport in the region. This is particularly important for commuters and travelers who rely on reliable and easily accessible infrastructure. The mobility center is thus positioning itself as a crucial part of the transport landscape in Bernau.

For the Gießen region in Hesse there is a similar pioneering role with Stadtwerke Gießen AG. There, too, around 190,000 people benefit from a comprehensive range of transport and supply services, such as rmv.de is reported. In particular, they operate local transport services with the subsidiary MIT.BUS, which largely powers its buses with bionatural gas.

The new mobility center in Bernau could prove to be a model for other regions where a future-oriented and sustainable service is required. The in-depth advice and personal contact are real plus points that make the difference. Stay tuned when the gates open on October 6th and a new chapter in public transport begins for Bernau!
