New industrial park on the A2: Lehnin Monastery and Brandenburg take off!
In an important step for industrial development in the region, the communities of Kloster Lehnin and Brandenburg an der Havel have jointly paved the way for new industrial areas on the A2 motorway. In September, the municipal council of Lehnin Monastery agreed to initiate a development plan process, which opens the door for possible new settlements, while the city council of Brandenburg an der Havel also passed the corresponding resolution. The goal: to provide an area of around 170 hectares on both sides of the Brandenburg junction for large-scale industrial settlements.
