On July 8, 2025, the Brandenburg State Football Association (FLB) published important information about the upcoming 2023/2024 season of the men's state cup. With a total of 117 teams, including the defending champion RSV Eintracht 1949 Stahnsdorf, the tournament promises exciting encounters and exciting games.
In the preliminary round, 110 teams compete against each other. Special features are the seven byes that were given to selected teams: Optik Rathenow, VfB Krieschow, Union Klosterfelde, RSV Eintracht, SV Babelsberg 03, FSV 63 Luckenwalde and Energie Cottbus got a free ticket in the first main round. What is special about it is the draw for the preliminary round and the 1st main round, which will take place on July 17, 2023 at 2 p.m. in the FLB office in Cottbus. The draw pots are organized regionally and by league, which promises exciting encounters for the teams.
Brandenburg Cup final 2025: excitement and tradition
Last Saturday the final participants VfB Krieschow and RSV Eintracht 1949 Stahnsdorf competed against each other in the Volksparkstadion Neuruppin. Financial aspects and ticket availability
The financial interest in the final is considerable: the winner can look forward to 209,453 euros from DFB central marketing, but has to give up 25%. The losing finalist receives at least 15,000 euros. Unfortunately, in terms of tickets, things are looking poor for the fans; Currently only standing room tickets are available in Block F.
