The 24th Griebener Summer took place in Oberhavel on July 7, 2025 with a soccer tournament, children's program and musical entertainment.

Last Saturday, Grieben experienced a colorful spectacle of joie de vivre: the 24th Grieben Summer! This traditional event attracted numerous visitors who gathered at the sports field and festival site to enjoy a wonderful day together. The first activities started at 1 p.m. and the colorful hustle and bustle began with the cheerful voices of the kindergarten children, who performed under the name “Mini-Diesteln”.
A special highlight was the small football tournament, in which the fighting spirit of the participants was high. One could only marvel at the goals, and the referees had an easy time of it because everything was well organized. The tournament, organized by SV Grieben, was a real celebration for the little footballers, which also included teams from Saxonia Tangermünde, Post SV Stendal, TuS Schwarz-Weiß Bismark and FSV Havelberg. There were no losers on this occasion - every little player received a medal from relay leader Mike Rübe.
Fun for young and old
The younger visitors were taken care of: a bouncy castle and fun water games, organized by the Grieben volunteer fire department, made faces smile. The fire department also presented its technology, which was very well received by the children. The physical well-being was well taken care of - a grill counter, a cake bazaar and numerous drinks on the drinks trolley invited you to feast.
The event was accompanied musically by DJ “Locke”, who further lightened the mood and ensured that people danced and celebrated until the early hours of the morning. This summer in Griben was a complete success and left nothing to be desired.
A look at the upcoming events
The Grieben Summer was a sign that not only sport is very popular in this region, but also community and tradition. So we can only hope that the upcoming events will bring as much joy as this day in the heart of Grieben.
