Motor frenzy in Menz: stubble cross race attracts 600 spectators!
It's almost that time again: the exciting stubble cross race in Menz is just around the corner! On Friday, October 3rd and Saturday, October 4th, the stubble cross field on Rheinsberger Straße will be transformed into a mecca for motorsport enthusiasts and adrenaline junkies. The organizers are expecting around 600 spectators, which will create an exciting atmosphere.
It starts on Friday at 12 p.m., while the campsites are ready for the first arrivals from 10 a.m. If you want to be there again on Saturday, you can set off at 9 a.m. because the races start at 12 p.m. Entry is free on Friday, for Saturday you pay 2 euros for the day ticket or 5 euros for the evening ticket, although a combined ticket is also available for 5 euros until 6 p.m.
A colorful supporting program
But there is not only exciting racing action to experience. The event is rounded off by an extensive supporting program. A marquee invites you to linger, and on Friday evening, sound culture MV at 8 p.m., a motocross freestyle show at 9 p.m. and a magnificent fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. provide the best entertainment. DJ Roy Klinke will provide the right music from 11 p.m. and lift the party mood.
Preparations are already in full swing. Over 100 motorsport athletes have registered in 9 different classes, including SSV Buggy, ATV/Quad and various motorcycle classes. The newly introduced SSV buggy class, which is open to buggies up to 200 hp, is particularly exciting. The route promises a twisty challenge that has been made slightly easier compared to last year and includes additional jumps, meaning more action and fun for participants and spectators.
