Summer fun in Oberhavel: Top events from July 11th to 13th!
A colorful weekend is coming up in Oberhavel! On July 11th to 13th, there will be a lot of celebrations and experiences in the region again. The individual event highlights promise not only fun, but also lots of cultural and sporting offerings. So what is there to see and do?
Let's start on Friday July 11th. In Feldheim, the “School’s Out Party” runs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Not only is there the popular pizza from the clay oven, but also the opportunity for the little party guests to celebrate together with friends. In Fürstenberg, however, the water festival at Schwedtsee starts at 7:30 p.m. Beforehand, from 7 p.m., Harry's Freilach in the town church will provide the sounds of klezmer. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
Culture and movement in nature
In Himmelpfort, film fans can look forward to an exciting evening in the monastery ruins: the film “Brückenschlag” will be shown here at 10 p.m. If you're more into sport, you can relax at the open laughter yoga in Himmelpfort from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. - entry is free! The fitness equipment in Kremmen is also not neglected: Sport in the Park starts at 10 a.m. and is free of charge. Always a hit: The wild plant walk in the Fontane Garden in Rauschendorf from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. - for a ticket price of 47 euros you can learn something about the local flora here.
On Saturday, July 12th, things continue with the Repair Café in Birkenwerder from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., where old treasures can be turned into something new. The water festival in Fürstenberg continues on this day - a parade from 11 a.m. including a city tour at 3 p.m. provides variety. For musical ears there is open-air folk in the Hennigsdorf community center from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., entry is 15 euros.
Family celebrations and entertainment
Sunday July 13th will be family friendly! In Bärenklau a family festival is celebrated from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., while in Beetz a baptism party at Beetzer See from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. is the perfect place for a sociable day. In Hohen Neuendorf you can get active with the “Mach-Mit-Fit” fitness series on Sunday mornings. For art and literature lovers, there are readings or historical tours in Liebenberg, where admission is even free in the afternoon.
An exciting experience will also be drag net fishing in Lake Gülper under the guidance of Wolfgang Schröder, a fourth-generation fisherman. Here the participants have to go into the water wearing waders and a waterproof jacket - a very special opportunity to catch zander and pike, which is not only suitable for professionals but also for hobby anglers. Information about these experiences can be found on the Reiseland Brandenburg website.
The weekend in Oberhavel promises unforgettable experiences and lots of feel-good activities for young and old! Whether culinary, culture or music – there is something for everyone here. Which events excite you the most?
